Orange JO is the only company which submitted an offer for a 3G license in Jordan! the funny story is that this only offer was denied by the TRC! The TRA says that Orange failed to abide by the rules mentioned within the tender!
So Jordan which introduced the GSM back in 1994 being on of the first countries in the middle east, is still without 3G!! am I missing something!? Is it the approach the TRC is handling this bid is wrong? Or is it the price war between the operators which rendered the operators without enough margins to consider the investment in 3G? or is it a failure of the 3G services aside from the broadband which is currently available using WiMAX?
